Gabriele Multhoff, Ph.D.,
Professor for Molecular Oncology; CEO/CSO

Gabriele is co-founder of multimmune GmbH and she also holds a professorship at the Klinikum rechts der Isar der TU München. She is an expert in tumor immunology and the development of innovative products for the treatment of cancer. She has authored more than 50 scientific papers and is a named inventor on all of the patents that have been filed in our name. Previously, Gabriele headed research groups at the University Hospital Regensburg ("NK cells and immunotherapy", 1999-2006) and at the Forschungszentrum für Umwelt und Gesundheit (GSF)/Klinikum Großhadern ("Heat shock proteins and immunotherapy; 1990-1999"). She received her Ph.D. in immunology in 1991 from the University of Munich and she has held the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Immunologie (DGfI) title "Consultant Immunologist" since 2003.


Claus Botzler, Ph.D., MBA
CEO/CFO (finance & administration, business development)

Claus commenced his career in the biotech industry in 1999 when he co-founded multimmune GmbH. He has been managing director and CEO of the company since its formation and is responsible for finance and business development. Prior to co-founding multimmune, Claus worked as a senior scientist at the GSF, and at the Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich in the field of tumor immunotherapy. He is a named inventor of several patents. He studied biology at the universities of Freiburg and Munich and received his Ph.D. in tumor immunology at the Ludwigs-Maxilians University in Munich, Germany (1996). Claus also holds an MBA degree from the Open University Business School (2003, Milton Keynes, UK).
