Hsp70 was identified as a novel tumor-specific target structure which acts as a recognition signal
for Natural Killer (NK) cells by the company's co-founders. Hsp70-expression has been detected on
various tumor entities (e.g. lung and colorectal carcinomas, leukemias) and metastases, but not on
healthy tissues.
